Administrators must set up local litre prices for engine oils, gearbox oils, and coolants within their application. If they are not set up, a pop-up warning message will appear if trying to add an associated job to a quote.

Notes:
- If a dual brand retailer, oils should be set up separately for both brands.
- These items, referred to as Local Parts, can be edited at any time. (Click here for steps to update local parts.)

To add generic fluids:
- Click the Administration tab.

- Click the Generic Parts tab.
- Two drop-down menus will appear. Parts in the first list do not have to be set up. Parts in the second list must be set up.
- Select a fluid from the list (first or second).

- Type 1 in the Quantity field to represent pricing per litre.

- Enter a Description for the fluid, such as engine specification.

- Create a Part Number (or use engine specification) in the provided field.

- In the Cost Excl. Tax field, enter the cost from your supplier.

- In the Retail Excl. Tax field, enter your selling price per litre.

- When ready, click Save.
- The fluid will be added in a list of Local Parts below. Be sure the Default option is selected to allow Menu Pricing to apply the new price.
- Note: The same oil may be added multiple times to reflect various price points. Be sure the desired option is selected as the Default.
